• ThermiSmooth. Radiofrequency heat that stimulates collagen in mildly loose skin, usually three to four one-hour sessions four to eight weeks apart with yearly maintenance. No downtime. It tightens; it does not remove skin.
• ThermiTight. Radiofrequency delivered beneath the skin through a fine probe, under local anesthesia, in a single session, for mild to moderate laxity: $15,500 at our practice. It reaches deeper than surface radiofrequency; it still does not remove skin.
• Venus Viva MD. Radiofrequency through micro-needles for mild to moderate laxity and crepey texture, in 30 to 40 minute sessions with minimal downtime. Long-lasting but not permanent.
• Botox and fillers. We offer both at the practice: Botox along the platysmal bands, $25 per unit, relaxes the muscle for a few months, and filler along the jawline camouflages early jowling. Neither treats loose skin.

Many “free” consultations are with a coordinator, not the surgeon. • Time off work. Most neck lift patients are back at a desk at about day 10 to 14, once the dressing is off, with light exercise at about two weeks and full exercise at four to six; plan events for after the three-to-four-month mark, when the final result shows. • Help at home. Someone should drive you home, or from the after-care facility, and be around for the first few days while the drains are in.
