Breast Revision- Bilateral Removal of Saline Implants, Completion of Dual Plane Pockets, Bilateral Capsulotomy, Bilateral Capsulorrhaphy With Pocket Repair, Periareolar Mastopexy, Replacement With Bilateral 650cc Ultra High Profile Silicone Implants.
This patient was experiencing aesthetic issues with her implants, so she traveled from Arizona to have surgery with Breast Revision specialist, Dr. Cat. She had lived with saline implants for two decades and was dissatisfied with their flat appearance and their positioning, which she felt was too high. Complicating her situation, she had tuberous breasts—a condition not addressed in her prior surgery. In response, Dr. Cat took an integrated approach. She removed the old implants and excised the scarred capsules that were distorting the shape and contributing to a flat look. Next, she repaired the pocket and placed larger, high-profile implants. Dr. Cat also performed a periareolar mastopexy. This additional procedure reduced the size of the patient’s areola and raised their position, contributing to a more perky, and lifted look. This patient is 6 months post-op and her results look incredible.
