How Much Does a Mommy Makeover Cost in Beverly Hills?

Mommy makeover cost is the number most patients search for first, and it has no single answer, because a mommy makeover is not one operation: it is two or more procedures planned together, and with Dr. Cat Begovic, a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon, it is priced from its parts. Dr. Cat's surgeon's fee for a full tummy tuck with muscle repair is $40,500 to $60,500 ($25,500 to $30,500 for a mini), for breast augmentation with implants $17,500 to $22,500, for a breast lift $35,500 to $45,500 or $55,000 to $65,500 with implants, and for liposuction added to a tummy tuck $6,500 to $7,500 per area. Surgeon's fees are typical ranges: a more complex case can cost more, and your fee is set at your consultation and is final only in your written quote. The operating room and the board-certified physician anesthesiologist for the combined surgery are quoted at your consultation, once Dr. Cat has examined you and set the operating time your plan needs: operating time varies with your anatomy and with the procedures combined, so it is set by her, not by a price list; the combined quote for your plan is written at your consultation. The $500 consultation fee is credited toward your surgery.

This guide covers what a mommy makeover includes, why combining procedures costs less, why Dr. Cat still stages some plans over two days, what moves the price, what the quote covers, costs abroad, insurance and financing.

What a Mommy Makeover Is, and Why It Has No Single Price

A mommy makeover is a customized set of procedures for what pregnancy and breastfeeding change: stretched abdominal skin (the apron belly many mothers describe), separated abdominal muscles, breasts that have deflated or dropped, and fat on the flanks and hips that outlasts every diet. Dr. Cat builds the combination for each patient from a tummy tuck, breast surgery (implants, a lift, or both), liposuction and, less often, a Brazilian butt lift or a labiaplasty: as few as two procedures, as many as four. Our mommy makeover page describes each option, and everything you want to know about a mommy makeover covers the rest.

Because the plan is built per patient, the price is too: each procedure carries its own surgeon's fee and each surgical day its own anesthesia and facility time. Any website that gives you one all-in mommy makeover price without examining you is guessing.

What Is Typically Included in a Mommy Makeover?

The most common combination is a tummy tuck with a breast procedure, often with conservative liposuction of the flanks.

Tummy tuck

A full tummy tuck with muscle repair removes the excess skin from hip bone to hip bone, repairs the separated muscles and repositions the belly button: a $40,500 to $60,500 surgeon's fee, and the operation most patients who ask about a mini actually need. A mini, a $25,500 to $30,500 surgeon's fee, suits laxity below the navel only. Our tummy tuck cost guide covers every version.

Breast augmentation, breast lift, or both

Lost volume with the nipple still above the breast fold calls for breast augmentation with implants, a $17,500 to $22,500 surgeon's fee. A nipple that has dropped below the fold calls for a breast lift, $35,500 to $45,500, which removes the excess skin and moves the nipple up; deflation and drooping together call for a lift with implants, $55,000 to $65,500. Patients who want a modest increase without implants can have natural breast augmentation, fat from lipo 360 transferred to the breasts, a $56,500 to $63,500 surgeon's fee for the combined surgery. See our breast augmentation cost guide.

Liposuction

Usually conservative shaping of the flanks or the mons pubis in the same surgery as the tummy tuck, $6,500 to $7,500 per area in surgeon's fees, or $3,500 for the mons. Dr. Cat keeps it away from the abdominal skin she is lifting, because the blood supply to that skin heals the incision. Lipo 360, a $45,500 to $52,500 surgeon's fee, is its own surgery, never on the same day as a tummy tuck; the liposuction cost guide prices every area.

Brazilian butt lift or labiaplasty

A Brazilian butt lift, a $56,500 to $63,500 surgeon's fee, moves fat from the abdomen, flanks and back to the buttocks and hips; it is never performed on the same day as a tummy tuck or a breast augmentation and is staged in the order Dr. Cat sets (see our BBL pricing guide). A labiaplasty, a $17,500 to $20,500 surgeon's fee, is never done on the same day as a tummy tuck and is added on its own day; our labiaplasty cost guide covers it.

Why One Combined Surgery Costs Less Than Separate Surgeries

Every surgery carries fixed costs that do not change with what is done: the anesthesiologist's time from induction to recovery, the operating room and recovery room, the nursing staff, the pre-operative work-up and the follow-up schedule. When two procedures share one session, those costs are paid once. You can see it in Dr. Cat's own fees: a single area of liposuction on its own carries a $10,000 surgeon's fee, while an area added to a tummy tuck is $6,500 to $7,500, because the set-up is already there. The same applies to a breast lift with implants, one operation under one anesthesia, and to lipo 360 with natural breast augmentation, where the fat harvested in one step is the material for the next. There is also one recovery instead of two: one stretch of time off work, one round of childcare, one set of follow-up visits. That is why a mommy makeover done in one session costs less than the same procedures booked as separate surgeries months apart.

When Dr. Cat Stages a Mommy Makeover Over Two Days

The saving has a limit, and the limit is safety. Dr. Cat plans a combination as one surgery when the total operating time and the recovery allow it, and across two days when they do not. Three of her rules are fixed: a tummy tuck is never done on the same day as a breast augmentation with implants, a breast lift with a tummy tuck is staged on separate days, and a labiaplasty is never done the same day as a tummy tuck. The reasons are time and recovery. A full tummy tuck with muscle repair and a breast lift are both long operations with long incisions closed meticulously, in layers, for the best scar; together, the time under anesthesia is very long. They also work against each other in recovery: a tummy tuck pulls the skin downward and puts tension on breast lift scars, and after a tummy tuck you use your arms to pull yourself out of bed, while after breast surgery you cannot pull or lift with your arms for two weeks. Her post on whether a breast lift and a tummy tuck can be done at the same time explains why.

The rule is firmest for the buttocks: a Brazilian butt lift is never done on the same day as a tummy tuck or a breast augmentation, because the blood supply to the abdominal skin during a tummy tuck runs through the fat a BBL would harvest, and because a fresh fat transfer needs six weeks with no direct sitting. In Dr. Cat's words, "my goal is to never squeeze in as many surgeries as possible and rush"; you only have one body.

For the price, each surgical day carries its own anesthesia and facility time, so a two-day plan sits closer to the sum of the parts, with the second surgery usually several weeks to a few months after the first. Both stages are quoted together at the consultation, so you know the full figure before the first surgery.

Common Mommy Makeover Combinations and How They Are Priced

The most common one-day mommy makeover is a full tummy tuck with muscle repair, a $40,500 to $60,500 surgeon's fee, with conservative liposuction of the flanks, so a full tummy tuck with liposuction of the love handles on both sides is the tummy tuck fee plus $6,500 to $7,500 per area in surgeon's fees, with the operating room and anesthesia for the combined surgery quoted at the consultation, as the tummy tuck cost guide explains: one surgery, one anesthesia, one recovery. A tummy tuck and breast augmentation is the same tummy tuck plus implants at a $17,500 to $22,500 surgeon's fee, always on two surgical days, because Dr. Cat never performs a tummy tuck on the same day as a breast augmentation with implants; neither operation is rushed and the recoveries do not conflict. A tummy tuck and breast lift, the plan most people mean by "tummy tuck and breast lift cost", is the tummy tuck plus a lift at $35,500 to $45,500, or $55,000 to $65,500 with implants, in surgeon's fees, on two days; it is among the most extensive combinations, so its quote sits nearest the sum of the parts. A BBL or a labiaplasty added to any plan is its own surgical day, quoted within the same written plan.

What Drives the Price of a Mommy Makeover

When you compare quotes, compare what is behind the number; these are the questions to ask every surgeon you consult.

Which procedures, how extensive, and on how many days. A mini or a full tummy tuck; implants, a lift or both; one area of liposuction or three. The extent sets the surgeon's fee and the operating time, and each surgical day carries its own anesthesia and facility time. A surgeon who promises everything in one long session is offering a lower price at the cost of hours under anesthesia and two sets of incisions healing against each other; ask exactly which operations a package price contains.

Who performs your surgery, start to finish. In some practices an associate does the marking, the muscle repair or the closure while the surgeon whose name is on the door moves between rooms. Dr. Cat performs every step herself, one patient per surgical day.

Who puts you to sleep, and where. Ask whether a board-certified physician anesthesiologist is in the room for the entire surgery and whether the facility is accredited. Every Dr. Cat patient has a board-certified anesthesiologist for the whole case, in her accredited private surgical center on Rodeo Drive.

The revision rate a cheaper surgeon carries. Dr. Cat is sought after for revision tummy tucks and breast revisions, and a revision always costs more than the original surgery would have done well: full revision tummy tucks are $75,000 to $95,000 and breast revisions with capsule work $60,000 to $75,500, in surgeon's fees. A price that seems too good to be true usually is.

What a Mommy Makeover Quote Is Made Of

Every mommy makeover quote is built from the same line items, multiplied by the number of procedures and surgical days; here is how each works at Dr. Cat Plastic Surgery.

1. Consultation fee

Many "free" consultations are with a coordinator, not the surgeon. A consultation with Dr. Cat is with Dr. Cat: she examines you, decides which procedures you need and in what order, and you leave with one written quote for the whole plan. It is $500, or $1,500 for a revision, credited toward surgery; out-of-town patients can start virtually.

2. Surgeon's fees

The largest lines, one per procedure, and the ones that vary most: the type of tummy tuck, the breast procedure, the number of liposuction areas, how long each surgery takes, and how much of it the surgeon performs personally. With Dr. Cat, all of it.

3. Anesthesia

The anesthesiologist's time and medications, once per surgical day. Some practices lower this line with a nurse anesthetist or hourly overage fees. Dr. Cat's board-certified physician anesthesiologist is included.

4. Operating room and facility

The operating room, nursing staff, recovery room and supplies, once per surgical day. Accreditation is the item to ask about; Dr. Cat's accredited private surgical center is included.

5. Implants

A line on every augmentation quote. Type (saline or silicone), size and profile are chosen with Dr. Cat at the consultation and set in your written quote.

6. Compression garments and surgical bra

An abdominal garment for about six weeks after a tummy tuck and a surgical bra after breast surgery, included; many patients buy a second abdominal garment.

7. Medications and labs

Labs and any medical clearance are billed by the lab or your doctor and often covered by insurance. Afterward you will have an antibiotic and pain medication prescribed; most of Dr. Cat's patients need only Tylenol.

8. Scar care

Silicone strips from your two-week visit, then silicone gel, for each incision; laser or scar camouflage beyond that is optional.

9. Follow-up visits

The day after each surgery, at one week, two weeks, one month, three months and beyond. Some practices bill each visit; Dr. Cat's are included, for every stage.

Mommy Makeover Cost in Mexico, Turkey and Abroad

Search "mommy makeover cost Mexico" and you will find packages in Tijuana and Cancun, and in Turkey, Colombia, the Dominican Republic and Thailand, at a fraction of United States prices. The price is possible because the surgeon's time, the anesthesia, the facility and the follow-up are all cheaper, and because there is often no follow-up at all: you fly home in a week or two, and the surgeon who operated on you is not the one who sees your incision open or your implant sit high.

A mommy makeover raises the stakes, because a complication is likely to involve two surgical sites and a long flight home with fresh incisions. The American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the CDC both warn about cosmetic surgery tourism, including outbreaks of serious infections traced to clinics abroad, and a correction at home is a revision: with Dr. Cat, a full revision tummy tuck is $75,000 to $95,000 and a breast revision with capsule work $60,000 to $75,500, in surgeon's fees, each more than the original surgery done well. Our post on plastic surgery tourism, the cost and the danger covers what to check before you book anywhere.

Does Insurance Cover a Mommy Makeover?

No. Every procedure in a mommy makeover is cosmetic, so insurance does not cover the surgeon's fees, the anesthesia or the facility, and the ranges on this page are self-pay prices. The partial exceptions: a hernia Dr. Cat repairs during your tummy tuck is a medical procedure, billed as we explain at your consultation; a panniculectomy, the removal of a hanging apron of skin after massive weight loss, can qualify when it causes documented rashes or infections, though only the skin removal is covered, not the muscle repair or contouring that make it a tummy tuck (read panniculectomy vs. tummy tuck); a functional labiaplasty is sometimes reviewed; and labs and prescriptions are often covered under your normal benefits. Tell us at the consultation if you think any part may qualify; we will give you the codes for your insurer and tell you plainly if the answer is no.

Financing a Mommy Makeover

Surgery is paid for before the surgery date, and many of our patients finance part or all of it. Cherry is our primary financing partner: 0% APR options for qualified applicants and a soft credit check that does not affect your credit score. We also work with CareCredit and Alphaeon Credit. See Plastic Surgery Financing Options to apply, and read how to finance plastic surgery for a comparison. A staged plan has a practical advantage: each surgery is paid for before its own date, so the cost is spread across the months between stages. If financing is not the right fit, Dr. Cat's advice is to save and wait for the surgery you want rather than settle for a cheaper version now.

The Costs That Are Not on the Quote

A complete budget includes what happens after surgery, twice for a staged plan.

  • Time off work. Two to three weeks away from a desk job after a tummy tuck and four to six weeks from physical work; after breast augmentation most patients are back at a desk in about a week.
  • Help at home. Someone to help you out of bed for the first days after a tummy tuck, and no pulling or lifting with your arms for two weeks after breast surgery. Nothing over 10 pounds, which includes a toddler, so childcare is the item most mothers underestimate.
  • Travel. Out-of-town patients stay in Los Angeles until Dr. Cat clears them to fly, at the two-week visit after a tummy tuck; a staged plan needs two trips.

Our mommy makeover recovery timeline walks through it week by week, from the first week of rest to the return to exercise at six to eight weeks.

Is a Mommy Makeover Worth the Cost?

The measure is what the surgery changes and how long it lasts. A tummy tuck with muscle repair removes skin that no exercise can tighten and repairs a separation that no core work can close; in Dr. Cat's words, her mommy makeover patients "feel physically stronger, more comfortable every day, and much more confident in clothing". The surgical results last for years, often a decade or more, as long as your weight stays stable and there is no further pregnancy; our post on how long mommy makeover results last explains. Then look at Dr. Cat's mommy makeover before and after photos, and read her patients' success stories, including several tummy tuck patients.

Mommy Makeover Cost Near Me: Beverly Hills, Los Angeles and the National Picture

Search "mommy makeover cost near me" in Los Angeles and the answers run from multi-surgeon groups advertising packages at about $12,000 to $35,000 with a free consultation, to specialist practices like ours at several times that. The phrase tells you where a surgeon is, not what you are buying; use the questions above on every quote.

Nationally there is no published average for the combination, only for its parts. The American Society of Plastic Surgeons reports average surgeon's fees of about $8,174 for a tummy tuck, $4,875 for breast augmentation with implants, $6,816 for a breast lift and about $4,000 for liposuction of one area, before anesthesia, the facility and implants. A 2026 cost study published by CareCredit puts typical mommy makeover prices at about $17,000 for a basic tummy tuck and augmentation combination and close to $50,000 for the most extensive plans; those are the figures behind searches from Texas, Seattle or Florida. Dr. Cat's practice is on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, where facility standards, anesthesia standards and the concentration of specialists raise the price; about a third of her patients come from out of state or abroad, and our out-of-town patient page explains how the virtual consultation, the surgery week and the follow-up are arranged.

Frequently Asked Questions About Mommy Makeover Cost

Answers reviewed by Dr. Cat Begovic, MD, FACS. Updated October 2026.

It is priced from its parts, in Dr. Cat Begovic's surgeon's fees: a full tummy tuck with muscle repair $40,500 to $60,500, breast augmentation with implants $17,500 to $22,500, a breast lift $35,500 to $45,500, and liposuction added to a tummy tuck $6,500 to $7,500 per area; the operating room and anesthesia for the combined surgery are quoted at the consultation, once she has set the operating time for your plan, and the whole plan is quoted in writing.

Most often a tummy tuck with a breast procedure (implants, a lift, or both), on separate surgical days, with conservative liposuction of the flanks in the same surgery as the tummy tuck. Some patients add a Brazilian butt lift or a labiaplasty, each on its own day.

With Dr. Cat, a full tummy tuck is a $40,500 to $60,500 surgeon's fee and a breast lift $35,500 to $45,500, or $55,000 to $65,500 with implants. She performs the two on separate days, because together the anesthesia time is very long and the recoveries conflict; the plan, with the operating room and anesthesia for each day, is quoted as a whole at the consultation.

There is no national average for the combination. The American Society of Plastic Surgeons reports average surgeon's fees of about $8,174 for a tummy tuck, $4,875 for breast augmentation with implants, $6,816 for a breast lift and about $4,000 for liposuction, excluding anesthesia and the facility, and a 2026 CareCredit study puts typical combinations at about $17,000 to $50,000. A Beverly Hills specialist who performs every step herself costs several times that.

A stable weight, ideally within about 10 pounds of your goal, with a BMI close to 30 or below. Dr. Cat schedules a tummy tuck at least four to six months after delivery and breast surgery at least three months after breastfeeding ends, once there is no nipple discharge and the breasts have settled.

The skin was tightened to the body you had on the day of surgery, so losing a large amount of weight afterward can leave it loose again; the same is true of the breasts after a lift. A few pounds either way do not change the result, which is why Dr. Cat asks you to reach a stable weight first; read how much weight can be lost from a tummy tuck.

No. Patients have mommy makeovers in their forties and fifties, often because they waited until they were done having children. Candidacy is decided by your health, not your age: a non-smoker, no uncontrolled medical conditions, a stable weight and realistic expectations.

Packages in Tijuana and Cancun are advertised at a fraction of United States prices, usually with everything done in one session and little follow-up once you fly home. The ASPS and the CDC both warn about cosmetic surgery tourism, and a correction at home is a revision, which with Dr. Cat is $75,000 to $95,000 in surgeon's fees for a full revision tummy tuck.

No. The procedures are cosmetic, so the surgeon's fees, anesthesia and facility are self-pay. A hernia repair during the tummy tuck, a medically necessary panniculectomy, a functional labiaplasty, labs and prescriptions may be covered depending on your plan; we explain what applies to you at the consultation.

Yes. Cherry is our primary financing partner, with 0% APR options for qualified applicants and a soft credit check that does not affect your score, and we also work with CareCredit and Alphaeon Credit. See Plastic Surgery Financing Options.

Yes. The $500 consultation fee, or $1,500 for a revision consultation, is credited in full toward your surgery.

More than the original surgery, because scar tissue, altered blood supply and skin already removed make every revision longer and more demanding. With Dr. Cat, a full revision tummy tuck is $75,000 to $95,000, a breast revision with capsule work $60,000 to $75,500 and revision liposuction with fat grafting $60,500 to $95,000, in surgeon's fees, with the operating room and anesthesia quoted after she has examined you; the revision consultation is $1,500, credited toward surgery.
